WHAT MEN WANT..........

Today a guy friend sat me down and said:

"Louise I need to teach you what men really want"

As I am a pretty curious creature, I poured myself a nice coffee and sat and listened to his rules; now here goes:

Rule 1: Leave us alone when we get moody and distant!

Rule 2: Just buy us our favorite treats and leave them somewhere where we'll find em without telling us or saying "see how nice I am to you."

Rule 3: Never ask us to get up and do something the moment our ass hits the couch!

Rule 4: never question our love for you

Rule 5: never laugh at the rules

Rule 6: seriously write these rules down!! Sheesh women!!

Rule 7: when we are sick we are worse than babies! Deal with it!

Rule 8: we expect you to write these rules down because we won't remember them! We are me. We know everything and remember nothing. Huh! What!

Rule 9: we created wine and champagne for you! Use it!

I have to say, by rule 9 I had poured myself a huge glass of wine , and stopped writing any other that followed, because yes there are more!! and I came to this conclusion:

Let your man do whatever the Fxxk he wants...

Then I realised: maybe this is why he is still single.............

So let me help you in return.....

But not today as, I have downed the whole bottle by now, because yes...... he is still at it......

The Tanzanian bug

2 months down the line and I feel part of this country! The people are amazing and you definitely get used to the chaos.

Work wise it is smooth and we have managed to film great interviews and panoramas.

This country really offers so much from the expat community, to the Beaches and Safaris but there is so much to discover that it seem like it would take a life time to see it all!

It has given me, even more of, the travel bug and it has made me want to discover more of Africa, like trekking to see the Gorillas or chilling in the Namibian desert or even going on a hunting adventure and maybe who knows going up Kilimanjaro with my Aussie Cousin Grant and UK cousin Rob!!

One of the highlights of my trip to Tanzania has to be our Safari adventure, from Lake Manyara to Ngorongo Crater. In lake Manayara we got taken hostage by an elephant while have sun downers, lucky us, our driver had parked in a way that we could still enjoy Gin and Tonics in the car. While at Ngorongor crater we witnessed 3 hippos chasing a Lions (see video) and a "near killing" of a Zebra, but it seemed that the Lion was too weak to keep it down, and of course the And Beyond group properties were breath taking see www.andbeyond.com

TRAVELING TO TANZANIA: START OF MY NEW LIFE

The 5th July marked the full closing of my past 4 years and the beginning of my new life.

I am no hippy, but I have come to understand and accept that things DO happen for a reason, every person that come into your life, every story, every experience make you grow.

I no longer dwell on a negative situation or wonder why some people choose to enter, stay or leave your life, I just take every second spent with them as a gift and if it is meant to be it is meant to be. This goes for friendship, love, family and work.

Don't try to understand everything because sometimes it is not meant to be understood, but to be accepted.

And as my beloved Aunt used to say: Always look on the bright side of life!

Tomorrow is the big day and the start of all the meetings: let the show begin!!!
